USDA lowered the forecast of sunflower crop in Ukraine for 5% to 10 million tons in 2013
In July, USDA lowered the forecast of sunflower harvest in Ukraine by 5% to 10 million tons in 2013 compared to June forecast.
This stated in July USDA report.
Forecast of meal production on 2013/2014 marketing year (September 2013 - August 2014) was also down compared to June forecast and is 4,147,000 tons.

As reported, in June, USDA predicted the sunflower harvest in Ukraine at the level of 10.5 million tons in 2013. Association "Ukroliyaprom" predicts that the area under sunflower 4.7 million hectares under crop in 2013 compared with 2012.
